I thought they might. That's where I bought as well. I'm curious regarding what they'd charge. I suppose I can call them myself, but if you don't mind sending me a PM, that would be cool...

If you found an installer you may not have the luxury of shopping around. I made 12 calls, 10 laughed, one said possibly and 1 was a definite yes.

esponda - you 've had better success that I did. Figured if I had to go out of state it would be to Tracy's - list was real short.

Did the two give any details about why the difference?

Had to do with the number of hours they said it would take to get done. Gonna call back tomorrow and talk to the manager for more concrete estimate.

Still haven't heard back from T and T performance they don't like answering their phone apparently

Yeah, definitely not the same as an LS or SBC. Definitely labor intensive if you have to do chains - quite a few talked about dropping the motor and how much effort it was.

Good luck on getting it figured out. This going to get very interesting in two or three weeks.

well if any one is looking to see what the base price is I call jeanetty racing,. They say the v8's is about a 11 hour job, 1 cam not sure if the v6 is as labor intensive considering we have 4, hope not. But the labor rate is 125$ an hour so thats $1400 to do on a v8. seemed really expensive to me, was kinda of hoping it be under 1000$

Chakita is to arrive at Tracy's shop on the 13th/14th. Cams should be arriving about the same time - it will be the BIG box...
