Sign me up for AUTOX please. Modified class. Just put $5k in wheels and tires on my car - don't want to tear it up on the strip. Never raced - gotta start some time, right..
Will be happy to work the corners or whatever is needed. Can't wait.. Lori |

Added, thanks! Also, check out the driver schedule in my signature! The OP has the times and schedule of who's running in which session.

yes... all you need is an approved helmet in the SCCA for autocross.
I would assume this event will be the same. |

Shorts and tee's are fine, expecially on a 94 degree day with 94% humidity in a sea of black pavement. Having said that I know very seasoned drivers that won't get into a car to go fast without donning Nomex and a full driver's suit. It is what they are used to. Shoes are important to an AC driver. We are running the OVAL!!!
The C5FEST III TEAM has been hard at work creating the best possible Autocross experience for our guests. We have sorted through all the details with the track and the Autocross Course will use the Lucas Oil Raceway OVAL!!!
In keeping with the spirit of the FEST 1. While there will be a few sections of the AC layout you can hit hard, we keep the overall pace down so that both Novice and Veteran Drivers have a great on track experience. 2. The AC arena will be the Host Hotel Parking Lot Experience in sun light The cars and drivers will be accessible all day both days. Hang out with the drivers and compare notes , hitch a ride, get a lesson, help with the event and in general have a great times. 3. This is not a race. We well have awards for the most improved driver, the most mulched cones, and best all round autocross driver (not the fastest, the most enthusiastic, helpful all round guest at the AC. The course will be GREAT and the Experience with your fellow C5 Guests even BETTER. |
