Reflashes, for example, do not take 5 minutes. Done properly, they take a substantial amount of time.

We ARE motivated to get them out as quick as possible...we don't want upset customers -- and we don't want to tie up money by parking cars in a lot somewhere and just letting them sit.

I'm sorry you're upset......we're turning them around as fast as we can.

Like fbod said it doen't take 5 minutes to fix. Do you want an issue free car or do you want your car now?

Come on Milk - FBod didn't say you long it takes to fix the problem did he? How can you possibly agree that Trent's situation is acceptable?

All the testing and shit is still happening to the Camaro. From the dreaded window issue to now the most recent battery cable.

All the testing and still things are going wrong with the cars. And ofcourse people can say that GM is working hard to get the cars out. But this launch has been so rough on peoples emotions its hard to stick to GM's word.

From recalls, to shipping damages, to quiality hold, to dealers marking way over sticker, its hard to keep the faith, if there is still any.

But we have to look at the big picture here, GM is a company and the Camaro is a new launch. Companies make money by giving us what we want. Camaro is a new car so its going to have a few bumps along the way.

Me just like everybody else wants their cars 3 weeks ago. But we have to be patient just alittle longer. Give it the end of May. May will be offically 2 and a half months since the start of production. I'm sure by the end of May so many of us will have our Camaro, that these treads will be like dust in the wind.

24 days till the end of May. wait 24 days and come back to this thread. I bet a paycheck that the majority of the posters will have their pretty new Camaros.

Theres the SPIRIT Hylton!!!

They have built over 7k cars so far. If all 7k of those were indeed preorders, when 6k preorders would be here complaining.

Do I think that vin 74 should have been delivered by now? Yes, and I feel like shit knowing my car is in transit.

But I will say that you GM cant make everybody happy 2 and a half months after a launch of a brand new car.

Maybe Trents car caught on fire or something...I really couldnt tell ya. But I know FOR A FACT that it doesnt matter if he/she has to wait another 2 more weeks for that phone call, all the waiting will be well worht it.

If I was one of the lucky ones with a vin in the lower 100s I would wait. But thats me. Good Luck in getting your Camaro. Please keep us posted!

Trent (and every low VIN buyer) has every right to be pissed.
How many days has it been? 50?
GM could have built new ones and got them to the buyers faster than it's taking to fix the originals.
That's pretty weak.

And no communications from GM either. And they wonder why they're in trouble.

Gotta tell ya, As upset as I am because of the way pre-orders are being done. I would be furious having a car that I know is built and sitting in limbo somewhere. The longer that car sits/ in transit the greater chance of damage.

There has to be more to this than just the reflashes.
GM should stop being so quiet & sneaky.

It's fine that they have to fix the cars. Just come clean to the buyers privately and give them weekly updates, privately. How about giving them a phone number where they can get REAL updates.

I don't know how many times we have to say this. If GM would do that, half the posts on this forum would disappear and Scott S. wouldn't have to come on here telling the buyers to calm down.
So SIMPLE!!
