At 3500 I had 500tq all the way to 6700

4.0 stroke is what you need.

Yeah I wanted to know what your tq was because i was trying to show that you get tq out of a stroker to a local buddy. He's doing a supercharger build and the extra cubes would be great for getting moving.

I keep going back and forth between 416 stroker and a Centri-blower. I'm not power hungry, I just want atleast 500rwtq so I can move this pig on the drag strip. Someone assess the pros and cons of both and help me make a decision!!

I already have 11.1 compression, so I'm thinking that my ideas of FI are out the window anyway. And I definitely don't plan on getting rid of those heads. The only other option is running a thicker head gasket, and that would sort of defeat the purpose of aftermarket heads to begin with. |

Actually it did answer one of your questions. You want something to get this pig down the track. Gears will absolutely do that and will cost you less than a grand, out the door. You can run FI as well but at that CR, you won't want to run a lot of boost. You should be able to run around 7-8psi without a issue, on 93 oct.
