Just run in the cold. Had to do it all the time in the Guard, and I'm sure you'll have to do it as a firefighter.

The trick is when you're running into the wind, tuck your chin into your chest so that you aren't directly sucking in the cold air.

I just read that Jessi Combs from Xtreme 4x4 will be filling in for Kari Byron on Mythbusters during her maternity leave this season! Awesome!
