No reason why you couldn't!

I plan on testing that using my RD and the Stock HX...

I used the Aeroforce gauges to log IAT2 Temps, but, did the gauge and Varimax at the same time so no Temps before. I had the Temps in the stock location (in the cai). I'm running 12* above ambient now so not bad at all. Recovery is where it shines... Varimax increased flow and temp recovery after being in boost very quickly.

I hopefully can use the stock hx with the RD. That is the new plan along with the 2nd Varimax.

It only is useful @ idle, but honestly, once you get moving, the fans are not useful. I'd skip it unless you expect to drag race and wait in a line.

Otherwise, you'll be fine once you get moving -- if you plan to race, then maybe, but for the street, it won't really be necessary...

Np, you can see what I have already with the heat here in Texas. You really don't have that issue. I like to try things and post the results. Real use/testing is better than talk. When we get colder here, my setup works well. I just try to manage those hot days ;o)

I think you'll be happy for now. If you notice later you want cooler IAT2 temps, you'll at least have an idea what you can do...

Keep us posted on your progress!

Don, does the interceptor read IAT2 from the OBD or do you need a sensor?

And I grabbed the Roto Fab coolant reservoir and Varimax for mine.

I had to use a plug in adapter for the MAF and route it to the IAT2 sensor. From there, the IAT option on the AeroForce would read the sensor. Tune was updated to scale correctly.

I have the setup on my build thread...
Start here. It's several pages...

Give me a post number to start with. I have mine set to 40 post per page.

And good looking out on the wheel hubs. Just snagged some. The washers and axles are on the way as well. Thanks

Hubs are a great price and a nice upgrade. Post page 41 I believe shows the AeroForce update for the iat2 update...

I know. Page 41 shows the setup of the iat2. From there the tune is updated to the zl1 scale. Then, you can use the OBDII port and read IAT (as IAT2). That is how mine is set up. I have so many updates, I need Table of Content ;o). May need to do that...
