Who gives a crap about the stupid Ford anyway? Go talk about that piece of junk on another site hopefully one that likes Mustangs. This area is for discussing the CAMARO ZL1 last time I checked.

All the boo-hoos and this will beat that idiocy would be better off done at the bar with drunk people for all that it matters to Me and most ZL1 owners.

I don't know about you but I bought a ZL1 because I wanted a ZL1, In my opinion it is a better buy than the Ford, and It is a better car all around, and I am tired of people wasting our time on here with comparisons which at this point mean nothing.

Comparing a NON EXISTANT Shelby to a barely tested ZL1 is just plain stupid and just bench racing, and just plain a fail.

Feel better now? Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion. You definately have yours. I respect it - just disagree with most of it. You don't have to compare it to a "non existant" Shelby, there are PLENTY of 2012's to compare it to. Just pick your spots, or you might lose more than you win. Competition isn't stupid - it makes things better. That is most certainly true of muscle cars. Respect them all and the competition they afford.

Some of you camaro enthusiasts are embarrassing - coming from a camaro guy with a zl1 on order. Blinding biases and extreme denial. Writing off the gt500 before it comes out, running behind the too often mentioned excuse - "if they can get the power to the ground". But I guess if this is what you need to do to justify to yourself that you didn't waste your $60k. I for one am not going to lose too much sleep if the gt500 beats the zl1 in all performance categories. Regardless of what the gt500 does, the zl1 will do what it does, and I will enjoy riding in it. If the gt500 was a 13 second car or an 11.5 second car, that doesn't affect what I feel behind the wheel when I'm in my zl1. 2012ZL1 - stop reverse trolling, and understand that to discuss a car, you must consider and discuss it's competition.

Please know that not all Mustang owners are dissing the ZL1. I for one, am very excited that Chevrolet has upped the ante with this mega monster of a car.

It looks great, runs great, and is a fine addition to the Pony Car wars.

High 10's - traps in the 130's - with a 1.9 60' time. Is street legal. Driveability is just like stock, but when you get on it - LOOK OUT! These cars are so easy to mod and there are so many ways to do it, depending on what you want.

everyone just needs to settle down. the car will post better times. nobody hit the best times of 2010SS/2011GT on the first day. its going to take a driver just like every other car. maybe cool down. maybe heat soak hurt it.
