Cars and Coffee would be cool, but it's too early for me. I'm coming off of 3 graveyards in a row (get home from work about 5:20am) and my wife and 2.5 year old son are coming to the meet with me. It's too early for them to get up and going.

Uggh. I've got bad news. It's been three years since I've been certified by the Red Cross for lifeguarding, and I'm required to get recertified if I want to continue as a lifeguard. Because of scheduling conflicts in the future, this Saturday may be the only time I can get recertified. I'm feeling really bummed right now cause I was really looking forward to this meet. But I can't risk missing this session cause there may not be a future one, and a job is a job.

Ok now i will be there and guess what family the best part is i dont have to call in sick, boy sometimes i just amaze my self and I'm looking forward in seeing all u guys out there this is going to be a great event, good times!!!

damn, that sucks, but I completely understand. a job is more important...especially in this economy. there will be more meets. good luck with the recertification...and if you finish early enough, cruise on out anyway!
