I think I'm interested in the Dragstrip event. Would only be my second time at a strip (first at SGMP) and only my 3rd run down a track (I still have so much to learn). I would be interested in making it a cruise/hangout type day.

Thanks for the response, I'm dealing with a tuner via email now and it's getting tedious, I was hoping there might be some one reputable in our area.

Hey Willard, just put a one piece driveshaft in "Lil Nasty"...pretty good mod for the money if you can find one used...

Nice you will feel and hear more of the car.

A little up date on the 68. Now 80% of the bolt I have used is new ARP bolts 20% new stock bolt. Did something that I knew better then to do. I bought the intake used it had bolts with it ok use them wrong. Intake 8.8 ft lb of torque this happen at 7 ft lb. When it popped my heart dropped. So the words of the day. NEVER REUSE CHEAP BOLTS.

I have the cross member back it in and trans all bolted up Still waiting on the one header to come back. But slowly putting it to gather.

Howdy y'all. It's not looking like I'll be able to make the races on Sunday but for those going, have fun and post up how it goes. Anything cooking for February yet?

I'm still not convinced I used launch control correctly when I ran the 50 for the first time back at Pony Wars. Some of you were watching and said my wheels were actually turning slowly at the tree and that's even with full brake pressure applied. Also the car was lurching pretty hard like it really wanted to go. Times were good but it just didn't feel right. Not sure if that's all the extra power I have now and that's just how it goes or if I'm not using or activating launch control properly. Of course I don't have to use it but I want to make sure it works first before giving up on it.

The '68 is looking pretty nasty there Willard. Looks like it's about time to get some passes down on the new setup.

I can come, but I have to bring the Infiniti. The Camaro doesn't have any racing shoes right now. But I haven't had a chance to test the Q50 yet, so it could be fun.!
