Got the sights fitted. Heading to the range today or tomorrow to test fire. I'm still trying to pick a finish.

Anyone tried one of these?

I was looking at them today at the LGS and have convinced my self to go back and pick one up for my Sig 232. Now for the record I am a custom leather holster lover, but these look very comfortable.

I was given one when they first started selling... Nice idea, needed polished. The problem, the holster needs to grasp the pistol a bit less, or the clothing a bit more. But then you have issues with a pistol that may not stay put when you're active. Didn't have belt loops or clips.

I always seem to go back to leather, hard on the gun finish but secure and last a long time. I do have a lightweight underarm holster that I like, but don't wear suits or jackets much and takes a while to put on compared to most.

Did somebody say blued 1911? 1918.

Or maybe a blued Series 70 if the originals aren't your thing. 1978.

I picked up a Sticky holster and will be giving it a go. I think it might have a place for short commutes and on/off ease. Just yesterday I did some testing, honey says drive me to the store I need to pick somthing up quick. I am like ok, grab the 232 and sticky in a cross draw position and am in the Camaro in seconds flat.

On the drive I pulled as many G forces as I could with still keeping the Camaro on th road and the holster held fast.......wifee on the other hand Got a bit dislodged......but I told her I need to test this holster out, (the guys on the Internet are counting on me) she says what holster and I don't care quit driving like that (insert big grin here) at least I had fun!

Very nice. I hope it fires as good as it looks.

On that vintage note, I'll show off my little gem circa 1940

Considering how light and comfortable they are you can put up with a couple negatives. Decent protection for a truck gun too

You might let her throw a few punches and see if it holds fast, sounds like she'd be glad to oblige

Does it have a provenance? WW2 pistol? Dad brought one back from Germany in 45, some serial numbers bring a pretty good price.

Unfortunately no it doesn't. No import marks though and all waffenampts are intact. It is WWII production, byf 1940 dated. It's a shooter for me. I love taking it to the range.

Too bad it's not numbers matching. Nice guns though. Incredible craftsmanship.
Mine is picky with ammo though.

Just picked up a H&K G36 .22Lr for the wife for target shooting. Going to add a red dot and maybe pink the gun out for her.
