Just a quick hi from Guam. Let me tell you if you want to see Challengers, they almost rival the Mustang on the road out here. New ones everywhere. If you want to see Camaros though, well, I have seen one yellow with black stripes in the week I have been here. I have been told that there may be 2 Transformer-ish Camaros here. Talk about withdrawals. Anyway, figured it was a little too quiet in here, I have another week and wanted to know if anything is coming up soon back in Hawaii.

We do have some car shows coming up and maybe a poker cruze. Not official word yet.

I forgot if you had mentioned where you got your custom paintwork done to your car? I think I remember that you mentioned that they had some past work designs to look at at the shop and to see if there is anything that might work for your car or something to build an idea from.

I'm not in a rush yet, but once my other mods are done, then definately would like to repaint and then have it clear vinyl covered to prevent cracking/scratching of the custom paint job. (Also not sure how long to allow dry before installing the clear vinyl covering.

if i ever had the money i would definitely get the vvscs1 Wheels in 22".

My typo. Its the VF061.

I was thinking 22" for quite a while, but the car is in the shop replacing a broken a/c fan belt (which gm doesnt even have in the system for ordering. Gonna try the corvette a/c belt to see if it fits) and a pulley change to boost more power to the magnacharger. Felt with the extra power, didnt want to push that big of a tire on stock rear axle. Didnt think the axle could handle the extra torque so ended up staying oem.

Hey guys I'm in waikiki on our honeymoon. We are from New York. Took a drive over to the north shore today. Saw a few camaros. They didn't have any camaro rentals so I got a mustang. Miss my camaro!!

Sorry to hear that. How long are you going to be on island? If you are here on saturday, they have a car show up in Mililani Shopping Center where I promise there will be some camaros waiting for you to check out. Ask for the 808camaros club and we can help you or ask for "Taz" who owns a SIM SS 5th Gen. I'm usually a little bit late but usually have my hood up unless its raining. Hope to see your smiling faces here at the car show.

Its in Mililani Shopping Center about an hour drive fm Waikiki. Starts around 5:30pm until around 10pm.

Thanks for the info Taz. Is there a car show at the Blaisdell on August 28? Aslo, think 9-4 had a cruise night at Aikahi, Windward Mall again on 9-18. There might be a paradise cruise on 9-26 as well.

By the way, when are your rims coming in? Suppose to get mine tomorrow! Can't wait.

Probably correct. I posted the email I got from 808camaros.

I still have 3-4 weeks before my rims are in. I'll probably contact them later next week for a status update. Have you got ur rims yet? Are they the same size you have on now?

The Heritage came in and gonna have them installed tuesday. Still thinking either bowtie or ss like urs. Hard to make a decision without actually seeing it on my car.
