You are right Paul, it seems everyone has gone into hibernation along with their cars. Lol. Glad to you see you are still out tearing them up. Haha. Things are going good here. This weekend will be the first weekend in 2 months that I will be staying in the Ames/Ankeny/Des Moines area. Crazy! Looking forward to kicking back and doing some hunting. Speaking of which, anyone in this area hunting waterfowl and know some really good places? Let me know. Otherwise, I am getting myself ready for a trip to Rhode Island; I will not be driving this time, to see my girlfriend.

Anywho, come on folks, what's the good word?

Never heard of waterfowl. Last weekend, before I garaged it, my dad and I took our cars through backbone. We got about 3/4 of the way through when we came to the first of 4 bridges. The first one was flooded over by about 6 inches. My dad was leading the way. I expected him to back up and turn around but instead he drove right through it. Which meant I had no choice. I really wasn't fond of doing it, but my camaro made it though all four bridges with out any damage so I was happy with that. I just don't like doing that to a $43,000 car.

Those hinges are sexy...never thought I would say that about a hood hinge...but damn.

And I love the scuff plates. Nice!

And it is supposed to be nice here this weekend...means the car needs to go for a battery charge...or maybe that is ME that needs a battery charge.

I'm liking this global warming, cause i get to drive my car more. I'm thinking on taking to to KC today but my girlfriend want s to drive her Mini down there also. I think we both want to drive our babys one last time before we put them away for the winter.

Thank you Mr. Intimidat3r for intimidating me to get the after burner tail lights. I'm just waiting for them to get here to put them on.

Took Domino to Vinton and back today. It was misting, but who cares? Going to detail her next wednesday anyway when I put her to bed for the winter.

Was going to do it next friday cuz it's supposed to be 50 degrees, but figured might as well do it before black friday and get it over with.

After a huge ISU victory against Okie St. last night, I had to take the cover off, unhook the battery tender and head out for one more cruise today to celebrate. We're going bowling!!!

Here we go . July 1 2012 GoodGuys Super Sunday in Des Moines. This is the day they open the show up to all years,not just 72 and older. I already posted on their Facebook wall to expect a Gen 5 Camaro invasion and mentioned the forum. They replied back so lets keep this date in mind. They are expecting us ! They have a nice autocross course we can run !

I AM SO THERE! I have been wanting to take my Camaro to Des Moines Good Guys since I bought it. If you have not been to this show - hold on to your senses. The sheer amount of COOL CARS in one place is just awesome. And that autocross course is nicely laid out.

Nascar in Daytona sounds like a blast . I know lots of things happening at that time but still hope to get some of our club there . We need to get a track day at one of the drag strips.
