Just as a heads up Hemp...as a chassis certifier for NHRA, since you are running faster than 9.99, a certified chassis is required at some NHRA tracks. Just depends if they are going to be enforcing the rules.

I don't think there's any way I'll get close to the 9's. Especially with the manual tranny. I'm hoping for low 11's. Any faster than that and I'll need Patrick's cage. I'm sure he hasn't installed it yet.

So let me ask. If I wanted to do "just" a cam swap what am I looking at dollar wise?

I would need at minimum. Cam, Springs, Retainers, Locks, Trunion Kit, Push Rods, Oil Pump, Gaskets, Fluids anything else? SWAG on the dollar amount $1500?

I've spent around $1350 for everything. BUT, that's not including the tune.
