Got here to the fest! Have a touring lap scheduled... Should be fun!
Sitting in a 30 minute delay in 100*heat, all temps were fantastic... When I get back, I'm going to try adding the other HX to see how that works, since I like to experiment... Fun! -Don

Today -- took the Camaro to NCM -- for a fun 'track' session with Danny Johnson (JOHNSONROD). BOY was that a blast!
5 Laps around the full 3.2 mile track! SO MUCH fun. The car did outstanding! This is after driving up in 30 minutes (15 minutes stuck in traffic), car sitting 30 minutes so Supercharger already heat soaked! My temps after 5 pretty good laps in 96° ambient? Temps as we entered the pit area after 5 laps: Coolant: 199° IAT2: 122° Yes -- you read that right Oil: 238° Trans: 217° Intercooler Coolant Temps (after intercooler brick): 145° So, dual intercooler pumps, larger HX, 80/20 coolant mix really helped here. Isolating the Trans cooling made an impact. Amazed at how the car did -- and boy did it stick with the new Goodyears. Now, this was not balls out full 10/10 racing, but for this old guy, I can't complain! Just ask Danny, we both had smiles like the Joker after that session! VIDEO? Damn it, I forgot my GoPro and I'm pissed I did, but October 1 is around the corner, and I think I'll drive up then for the HPDE event Danny told me about -- looks to be a blast! What a fun afternoon... WISH we were able to do the 'planned' track day -- that would have been SO epic... OH and nothing like smelling 'hot' brakes ;o)... -Don
