Damn, had I known they would fetch that kind of money I would have given a bit more thought to getting a 1LE...that would more than cover the cost of the wheels I wanted as well as getting the hood painted to match the rest of the car.

The 391s were the main reason I was interested in that package to begin with...I had no idea the black on the hood was just a wrap...

Definitely considering the 391s...sounds like the place being doing it on mentioned on Facebook has the whole process down. I suspect the people with automatics notice a much more drastic change than the people with manuals.

Very true...havent heard if I would need to update the clutch or anything else as far as manuals go. Have you heard whether or not this is something that can void the warranty? (Assuming OEM parts are available now)

no it will not void the warranty .. i believe so... but you will need a tune.. i know RPM can tune it for you or you can take it to the dealership..
but with the clutch.... no. lol i mean unless you are close to 500HP... i know with headers / gears/ and a tune ill be close to 500 at the flywheel (CAI, full exhaust and other mods i have)... i had people tell me to replace my Driveshaft and clutch before the upgrades but ive seen so many people still running stock parts. but if you are just doing gears right now.. im pretty sure your clutch will hold.. till you hit 500+hp

UMMMMM.............. I wouldn't bet on that.... unless the GM dealership does the install.

Scotty, NUCAR Chevy near the New Castle airport has a performance shop, I would check with them if you want to get those gears and keep your warranty. If you have to get a tune, then your warranty is out the door as far as motor and drivetrain anyway....unless the dealer does it.

Thats not taking anything away from RPM...as you have heard on here...they have an extremely good reputation
