Since when is Vegas a dangerous city? I have been going to vegas since I was 6 months old. I have been there about 25 times in 20 years.

I am with El Diablo! I did the fly and rent deal just because I wanted to attend the 1st C5 Fest. If it is in Valdosta next year, count me out. If it's west or central I'll be there with my "Pumpkin". To be fair it needs to be more central or all it is is a East coast C5 Fest. You can show all the population density graphs you want, but the bottom line is this site is supported North American wide and should have a location that's fair for most.

I met all lot of very cool people and I was very sad to leave them all behind.

Agree 100%. The reality is that having it near either coast blows that out of the water.

LVMS is located 15 miles north of the Vegas Strip. It totally safe out there. I race there 6 to 8 times a year, never heard of any issues. There is lots of Hotels out that way that are reasonably priced. Lots of hotels cater to family and children.
