In addition to the calculations for actual mud weight... they have to figure the circulating mud weight equivlancy... Flow creates friction which add weight the formation sees... It's all very critical to not losing a hole...

We'll actually be losing a few cubic inches... The new motor should be around 419 cubic inches... but will have the six bolt block... It'll still have the oversized head studs.

We'll lose a few cubic inches due to the reduced stroke for the larger rod journals... I'll give up a little to gain a lot...
