I've had my share of long stays in hospitals & its always a bad experience, I can only imagine how worried I'd be being in a hospital in a foreign country. I hope he's alright, he's the 1st guy on this site that welcomed me with open arms & has been totally cool since day one.

Yeah, it's been there for a few months now and I don't like it at all.
The good news is I discovered "add block" and it really works seamlessly for all websites. It leaves the adds you want and gets rid of the ones you don't want.

Really hope Robert can get on a plane and get home for some real rest. Debbie has to be worried sick.

I would be worried sick just knowing he is in Africa in a Hospital with limited skilled Doctors!

You know, they probably have pretty decent doctors but the facilities can't be that great at all.

First off, Josh, bad ass half mile brother...

Next item, I'm still weak, feeble, loopy, whatever you want to call it but I'm on my way home...

The most excellent Doctor I had, a Nigerian Woman, who works at the Shell industrial facility in Port Harcourt took very good care of me... Though I feel most probably that if I drink to much water I'll look like two sprinklers... Man the IVs and now I believe I have phlebitis, which is inflammation of the veins in my arms from the multitude and quantities of drugs administered... It's quite scary actually... Thoughts on the rig were food provisioning, but the Dr actually believes it was /is viral... Which would explain some of the spins I'm suffering occasionally...

To their credit, the food on the rig was as good as any I've ever had offshore, anywhere.... The people were super friendly, it's just the country is so impoverished and a festering boil...

Anyway, in Frankfurt Germany, waiting for the big bird ride to IAH and then a hop to Austin, a limo to the house and my bed... I took a shower here in the Lufthansa Lounge and finally left the Africa behind...

Thank you One and All for the thoughts and Prayers... I've been out of internet connection for a week, but Deb filled me in a bit...

And I got news from Corey.... Nah na nah na nah na nah na nuhhhh....... batman.......
