Ah....makes sense. If\whenever I get rich and famous like you guys, I will get some TT's and use an air\water intercooler and worry about these kinds of problems then. I like ice!

You should do LPE's upgrades for the ZL1

1) 1 gal SC coolant reservoir with all the hoses/fittings needed ~ $200

2) The higher volume SC coolant pump designed for direct fit for ZL1 and includes the wiring harness that has the option for their pre/after cooler pump circulation module that is in developent.... supposed to be available soon.

I have a pic of the pump in by build thread..... slightly smaller than the Bosh pump and tested to be higher flowing when installed in the ZL1, PLUS - tested against the Meziere 20 gpm and the 55 gpm units (which flowed less). I don't think the pump is on their website yet, but was somewhere around $250.

3) Larger heat exchanger. (not LPE... but you could ask Ted about) I've got the Torq dual pass with dual fans and Ted has a non-fan, but 4" thick HE coming. Hard to tell which will be better for autocrossing vs 1/4 mile and how air flow will affect coolant temps, etc. But I'm betting Ted's will be a winner for road courses if coolant temps stay in check.

Yeah, I also have been looking at Jannettys stuff as well. I am not sure how much heat is going to effect it. I haven't had it above 80 degrees ambient air yet.
I am not sure the LPE resivour will fit with my ww relocate kit. I know Rotofab makes LPE's cold air kit so thats the same, however I also have the ww relocate as I have th Rotofab big gulp intake as well. Rotofab says they are working on a sc coolant res. for zl1 cars with all th above stuff that goes under the master cyl, not yet thou. I will probably do a bigger heat exchanger as the one that comes on here is tiny. currently I am buying old camaro parts for the 67 so that I can autocross it at Goodguys in June.

The ZL1 1 gal SC coolant tank from LPE is made by Rotofab - so mates up against the Rotofab CAI perfectly.

This windshield reservoir worked perfect with CAI kit and CAI scoop.

On the Zl1 the ww relocate and the sc res. mount in the same spot so currently you can only have one or the other. They are coming up with a both solution.

Here's how it mounts to the CAI race scoop on the SS. The fill portion can be located anywhere that's uphill from the tank and uses the OEM pump and wiring.

I stopped and inquired about that 67-68 Camaro for you. Turns out it's an auto auction place and the car's garbage. No motor, body is all messed up and inside the car has a ton of car parts.
