A couple of more questions....
1- I don't see the 3.73's listed??? Is that a wish or did they mention it somewhere? 2- Why not "square" up the corners and have 305's all the way around from the factory? |

There's no "wrong" with "wishes", ShnO...none at all.
* Does a 1LE equate itself well, price-wise and feature-wise, in the Camaro line-up AND the overall Marketplace? Absolutely YES. * Does it give a vast SS/Camaro owner body "something" to move up to, THIS generation? YES. * Is it "perfect" for us all? NO...but then, what is?! * Could (italix'd) it lead to "something else"? On paper, YES. In reality? Tick...Tick...Tick... |

1) 3.73s must go with the "Close Ratio 6-speed", which I read as MG9... Otherwise, with a 2.66 1st gear and 3.45s, you'd get speeding tickets (and clutch wear) in 1st gear...
2) Wheels/tires from the ZL1 are "good to go". Anything else isn't...time! monie$! The ZL1 rubber would only require a slight redo of the electronics, to compensate for less front-end/overall Weight. Still required, but NOT as complicated as resized tires too. Equates to a quicker-to-Market deal. Tick...Tick...Tick... |

TWO not-so-small IFs:
1) IF it runs laps as quickly as a BOSS LS... AND 2) IF "something else" is NOT in the planning stages... THEN...call it whatever they want. IF it will not equal the BEST BOSS, do NOT bastardize OUR name... If it will rustle the BOSS LS, they could call it a Berlinetta for all I care...I'll still want one! |

Surrendered my Michigan drivers license yesterday. :(
Apparently I am now an official tax paying and paying and paying resident of Illinois.

Number 3, did you live in the Tri-County Metro area? I have a buddy who moved 10 miles further than his former (private road) Ortonville place...taxes still plunged by HALF for equal assessment!
How's Tri-County compare to Chi-Town? |

Yep!
Property taxes................double State income tax Michigan 4.2%, Illinois 5% State sales tax Michigan 6%, Illinois 7.25% Local sales tax Michigan 0, Illinois up to 1% in so I'm told for some communities Community car sticker Michigan 0, Illinois $30, at least in my city Lots of extra fees I lived in Oakland County. Our property taxes were pretty reasonable.
