Well she came home yesterday. She is tired but seems ok. They are afraid the chemo may of damaged her lungs. Kathie is beat and has had it with driving up to Birmingham. We are going to see if we can find another doctor closer that can take over. The 3 hour drive each way is taking its toll.

Also the doctor and hospital at UAB have decided they do not like Atena insurance anymore and are really zinging us all of a sudden with bills. Insurance company says do not pay since they have been paid. Hospital wants more money than the agreement with Aetna. Now they want me to give them 75,000.00. So I see I am going to be pulling my hair out here soon.

Oh well another day in my life.

Scott -

Hang in there buddy. Glad that Stephanie is home and pray that it did not affect her lungs in any way. I am not trying to rationalize, but the hospital will get paid one way or the other. Try not to let it get to ya.

Keep taking your new ride out and enjoying it. Put the windows down and let the air blast in. Then mash the pedal. Hold on for maximum stress relief.

Bills are bills...let insurance and the hospital fight it out. You worry about your daughter and that is IT!

Don't worry about the bills just leave it in gods hands he will help you with them. Just spend some time with Stephanie because each moment she is home is a blessing don't worry about anything else. Stephanie looks like a fighter so she will make it through.

She is a fighter. Good kid most the time, but with me being a step dad she can get an very smart mouth. So she is a pain in my butt, but a pain I want to have for a very long time.
