Hey guys. Sorry about the delay, been a little swamped. Ok let me see if I can get all your questions answered.

We are thinking of putting a small LCD display between the hazard button and the lock/unlock switch to display outside temp. most radios will have a clock in them, so we arent planning to incorporate that over. Ill see if I can get a rendering of what the display will look like.

Price and release date are still TBD, but we are working as fast as we can on the project. The dash kit (minus the little display) are ready to go, we are just neck deep in electronics right now. When we are getting ready to release these, trust me, we will let all you guys know.

The stock radio is the only one that I know of that will integrate into the HUD. Most of the new units have all that info displayed on their own screen, but as of yet there hasnt been any way to get that info pushed over. You would have to hack the headunit, and build a CAN-LIN interface to talk to the bus to put all that info up there.

I have always been a big fan of Pioneer units myself, but everyone has their opinions. Clarion actually had a pretty awesome unit about 2 years ago, its the same one that was in my original kit. Super fast, decent interface, and not too pricey. Ive been out of the "car audio" game for a while, so I dont really keep up on the latest and greatest anymore.

Thats all I have for now, Ill try to keep you guys posted when I can.

It probably doesn't matter much in terms of when you'll be able to get the kit but you guys have to manually add yourselves to the list. Cut and paste the most recent list and add your name to the end.

Will you be making the unit w/ the outside temp screen a seperate unit or will this screen be on all of the units? I want a stock unit w/ no other screens or anything. I dont really care about the outside temp really.

I think the sleek beauty of this shouldn't be disturbed by the presence of a random lcd screen. I say if you get a ddin that shows outside temp, YAY!, if not buy a thermometer from walmart haha

Agreed. And why do you care about outside temp? You're inside, lol. The console warns you to watch for ice if it's too cold.

Ive tried to get it to come up on the HUD. So far I havent been able to find out how, or if its even possible. The majority of people want to retain their temp display, and its not cost effective to make 2 different kits just for that option. Maybe a small grey plug if you want to cover it up, but if its there, might as well use it. I dont know why you NEED a temp display, roll down the window and you could probably guess within 5º the temp outside. It has also been a requirement by management to keep the display somewhere, so my hands are kinda tied. We thought about putting it on the small black piece of plastic behind the steering wheel, between the guages (some guys put their WB O2 display there), or even changing the rear view mirror to an SUV one, but if you have a 2012 with the screen in the mirror, that wont work.

Its only a 1/2" tall black box between the hazard button and the door lock buttons. Most people will probably not notice it because how bad-ass the rest of the kit will look with your new Double Din

I think you'll lose the temp display with the double din since that info comes from the radio. You'll also lose the radio, bluetooth, and music track info to the HUD. :( Don't really want to lose that with the effort it took to put the HUD in, will probably use that money to change out the rear gears.

Like i said earlier ill take what i can get but i think that idea where you out the screen by the speedometer were some people but their WB O2 screen is the best idea you get the best of both worlds and it looks sleek. Either way I'm getting this kit if it ever comes out i don't like anything else out there and have stuck with my stock since 2010 with no problems. Just putting my opinion out there keep up the work and let us know when we can order asap lol.
