"Technically" yes, they only sell it to exports - but all camaros have the gas threading on their fuel nozzle. So it works on ours too.

Why is it the inside of my cap looks different than the OP's? The actual locking mechanism has 2 round prongs, but the inside of my cap does not have the 2 openings for it? Before I set this in, I want to make sure some of you guys have a cap that looks like this. Mine is an AC delco btw.

Yeah something there does not look right.
put the tumbler assy in it and see if it goes in all the way.. As long as you don't install the brass keeper it will come back out. I think you may have a defective one. |

It's actually missing the plastic piece with the 2 open holes for the locking mechanism to pop into. Now it's a matter of who to contact? Ac Delco, Amazon

This Write-Up was a GREAT help. If you find like i did that you cannot instal the cylinder in the cap. You didn't heed this instruction. "Slide the sleeve (tab end first) over the cylinder. If it stops at the tumbler it is the wrong one". I had to pull the brass keeper back out using pliers and install the sleeve correctly. Also had to use another spring for the brass keeper, since that was slightly mangled pulling the keeper out. Everything is fine now just need to install on the car.
THANKS |

I got the AC Delco one from RockAuto. Was very cheap and got here quick. It looked really hard but only took ten minutes. I still need to oil it though but I already put it back together.

Me and another local guy have had issue with the lock coming out which we thought was impossible once place inside and turned as prescribed.
I've put the key in and turned it and pulled and key with lock attached comes out. Any solution or tip?
