Wow. I'm very impressed.
Scott said permagrin. Now I know what he meant by that. Now, I'm expecting the 1/4 mile times to be equally impressive. I can't wait to see that footage!

I hope they have the "Lap around the RING" video like they did for the ZR1.

After thinking about it, the ZL1 Nurburgring lap time of 7:41.27 is probably even faster than the time my stock 1969 Z28 would run.
Now how much would you pay for a ZL1? But wait, there's more ...

The mustangs haven't "officially" run at the 'ring. Probably because in the past, they didn't care, it was all about straight line(GT500). The '13 GT500 has been spotted running there and, according to "The Pill", is several seconds faster than the ZL1. I call BS on that one. I don't honestly think any mustang will come close to 7:41

This performance is coming from a virgin zl1 that's targeted at the $50g range. It could only get better if chevy continues to improve its suspension and offer upscale handling packages to it, similar to the zo6/zr1.

If those numbers are true and where ran by a stock ZL1, then its gonna be a lot better then we thought.
