It was for the original amount of the estimate. But that ammounts has gone up as the repair center has made ammendments to the repars as they've uncovered other problems. I still have the check and have made it clear to Liberty Mutual that in the future I don't want to be the middle man. As such I've authorized them to pay the repair center directly.

Pester the shit out of them, I know MrIcky said it won't do any good, but you may be surprised. Call 5 times a day every day, tell me what happens.

I got my car back last week!!!!!! I totally forgot to post this with all the drama here lately.

Car is fine, I'm still "negotiating" with the insurance company. But, the repair center did a great job. No problems, They even retinted a window that wasn't part of the accident.

So, I'm glad to have my grocery getter back. Thanks everyone for all the great advice and support. I'll let you know how things go with the Claim....
