For those who have been there, done that, AND bought the T-shirt, I agree with your exuberance but respectfully suggest we are in an age of muscle car performance beyond the ages that seemingly can only be described in terms of quantum physics. I pinch myself at times to see if I am dreaming or not. We have arrived.

Okay it's fast and handles great in the curves. 172 MPH is hot. I wonder what kind of numbers a stock manual SS would turn with the same driver? Answer? Low 8's. It would be a blast to try it out just for the experience. Of course by the time I got through the run I would have significant body damage and road rash all over my tires and rims. I would excel in the straight away though. :-)

This time is close to the times the zr1 and z06 did without the cup tires...cant imagine what it would do with those tires on it. Closer to the 7.20 mark? It made up over 20 seconds for the other cars...Maybe they will come as an option and call it the Nurburgring edition like Lexus did! Big Props to GM

I'm starting to believe this car looks like too much car for me to own. I think I'll stick with my SS. 426hp is more than enough for the street.
FYI, not to be a homer but I've noticed on a LOT of a auto sites that there hasn't been much Ford hater chatter on this car.... not much you really could say and now the video speaks for itself. And *crickets* at Dodge.... Viper doesn't count. They need to stick that viper engine into the Challenger and make it a production car and not just a sema car. |

LSA vs LS9 sound
Awesome video.
Curious as to why the LSA in the Camaro sounds so different than the LS9 in the Corvette? |

I wonder what times the GT500 has been running.

What I want or don't want is irrelevant, the GT500 is this car's competitor, and I'd like to know how they stack up.

That was an absolutely awesome run at the 'ring by a truly badass Camaro. He beat the crap out of that monster to get that time. A truly wonderful job. It looked as though to me he just about lost it once or twice. That guy has balls of steel.
