That goes for any team that has their franchise guy. If the starter goes down the drop off to QB2 is usually huge. Not much difference between Pickett and Trubisky

He wanted the fans to know Buffalo would always be in his heart. Our GM isn't stupid and the whole NFL world went WTF as its unlike Beane to not have a backup plan and cutting your LT with no serious BU starter at that position was odd. But the call was to let him know that he was going to be a Bill for the rest of his career so Dion had to backtrack https://www.buffalorumblings.com/202...kdown-nfl-news

As for Diggs its hard to say what is going on as most #1 receivers are prima donnas.
Most of the problem with him is he wants lots of targets and for the first 10-12 games he gets a lot and is usually a league leader at that point. But he has a small frame and that means he gets banged up and his production rate drops off significantly down the stretch. Check out his stats from the last 3 years...they show it. He needs better work load management and to be less demanding on his amount of targets in weeks 1 to 10 to stay productive for 17 games. His goofy meddling brother doesn't help the situation either https://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-cryptic-tweet

BTW 25 year old 4 year starter with the Colts FS Justin Blackmon visiting the Bills.
Could Blackmon/Rapp be the next Hyde/Poyer for the Bills? Justin roaming the deep field and Tyler bringing the boom stick down low https://www.buffalorumblings.com/202...colts-nfl-news

Safety Mike Edwards visiting Buffalo 2 Time Super Bowl winner with Bucs/Chiefs.
Probably more of a reserve type player rather than a starter. RB Ty Johnson puts pen to paper re-signing with the Bills for 1 year. Rotational DE Casey Toohill brings his high motor play to Buffalo on a 1 year deal. Still about $7m in cap left plus the $10m post June 1st (thats the rookie contract money)

I guess the Bills see Mike Edwards as a starter because they inked him to a one year deal

He is a not the same player he once was but if the Fins want to waste cap room.
Funny how the Ravens are moving on from him after one year since they said he was going to be the guy to open up the outside for Lamont 64 targets 35 catches 565 yds and 3TD's with 1 fumble lost. So lets see $15m spent equals $ 428,571.42 per catch or $5m per TD Yep money well spent and they added void years so technically they are still paying him

Bills add DE Austin Johnson and versatile OL Will Clapp both formerly of the Chargers on one year deals.
The active roster is now at 65 players with 11 draft picks which means 14 more openings with $8.65m left to spend and 10m in the bank for June 1st.(the rookie money from cutting Tre White)

I guess if you could get him on a one year for $5 to 6m.
These are quoted X's Under Beckham's original deal, the remaining years would have voided and the Ravens would have taken an $11.068 million cap hit. But in January, they changed the contract as follows: Beckham is scheduled to earn a minimum $1.21M salary in 2024 and $50 million (yes, really) in '25 4:50 PM · Mar 13, 2024· If Beckham is on the Ravens' roster March 14 (tomorrow), the $50 million 2025 salary would become fully guaranteed. Obviously, that's not happening. But the post-June 1 cut means Ravens carry $2.767M dead money for Beckham this year and $8.301M dead in 2025. These are posts from X by Dan Graziano I think the Ravens know he is washed up at 31 yrs seen this a January and got OBJ to help them avoid a cap disaster OBJ will not be the best slot WR in football for 2024 or beyond Cooper Kupp Amon St Brown and Deebo Samuel say Hi Not to mention a pile more guys like the Bills Kalil Shakir who put up OBJ's numbers for one fifteenth of his money https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khalil_Shakir
