I am also interested in a set. Will this require a new connections or ballast? One company that I was considering, suggested new cables. I just need to choose bulbs to fit the Morimotos?

No new connections, ballast or cable replacement required. I’m planning on using PHILIPS DS1 4300k pure white. 4300k is stock. The higher the kelvin the brighter but narrower the beam.

As long as the Morimoto projectors allow the OEM bulb, i dont see a reason to replace. Sounds like a nice idea to save and use good hardware
