The rear upper control arm mounts are in line for production now, prototypes have been in testing for quite a while. They have a couple advantages vs. some other options. Prototype to production takes us a little while because I am still in the Army, so that eats up a bit of my time. The other guys are full time, I just handle the Camaro stuff, we are all machinists though, so once things are finalized production is easy.
Thanks again for the positive reviews of the shifter mounts, it is something that I have been working on for a while to come up with an affordable alternative to a billet shifter. |

Can you post a link to order them? I looked in the classified section, but didn't see a post. I checked the website listed in your signature on my phone, but there were no items under 5th Gen Camaro.

The shifter mounts sold out yesterday, that may be why they arent showing. We didnt expect to sell that many so fast. We will be producing more this week or next.
The mobile sites can also be sketchy, try checking the desktop site option on your phone. You should be able to see at least the other products. |

I'm giving some thought to purchasing this bushing as well. I'm thinking that the exhaust and driveshaft have to come out. I'm going to be replacing my parking brake lever assembly once it gets a little warmer due to it being of POS design and failing at 31k miles. Anyway if all that stuff has to come out to get to it, I figure why not gang on a performance mod while doing a repair. My question is: Are the driveshaft bolts torque-to-yield thus requiring replacement upon reinstallation of the driveshaft? Thanks in advance for any input regarding this matter.

It is not necessary to remove anything just to do the shifter mount, assuming you have a few extensions and maybe a wobble or u-joint for the socket. I do not know anyone who has removed their driveshaft and replaced the bolts, everyone has reused them without issue, and I know a lot of Camaro owners. The shaft has hollow pins that drive the joints, all of the stress is not on the bolts themselves, as the bolts pass through the pins.

^^^ I agree. No need to remove the exhaust or driveshaft. I installed mine a couple of weeks ago and the only thing I did was unbolt the heat shield and pull it back for easier access. Pretty easy and painless install.

I haven't had a chance to rip through the gears at WOT yet due to the weather, but it definitely feels tighter with less slop in normal driving.
