go over to cadillacowners.com, and there are quite a few CTS guys clamoring for a supercharger. Same powertrain as the Camaro, so that increases the market a little.

Personally, I'd love to see a supercharger come out for the V6. I intend to keep this car for a very long time and I would like to have the option of adding more horsepower down the road.

As long as I live in California the only FI option available would be an aftermarket Supercharger, since Turbochargers are illegal (modifies exhaust) unless otherwise approved by the California Air Resources Board or they are included on the car from the factory.

Actually, a supercharger or turbocharger needs to be approved by the California Air Resources board.

Its generally just easier to get certification with a supercharger, as a turbocharger takes heat energy out of the exhaust, and normally that heat energy is used to light off a catalytic converter.

You know what guys? I'm considering getting an SS... just so I can get FI. They have too many options... like 7 different SC options, and so many twin turbo options.. like wow. No love for V6 =(

Im not ranting because of lack of power, Im ranting because lack of options LOL. if the V6 had more options, regardless of power, i'd be happy. but like... cmon LOL. sorry, rant over =(

Dont do it man.. Keep the 6. The money you will lose with a trade will be a nice turbo down the line. Also, you can get a z28 front bumper and you will have the sickest camaro around.

It will be nice to get 25mpg when staying out of boost and still have all that HP when you need it.

It will be really expensive to get 500+ to the rear wheels (but my goal is more than that), but we can definitely do that to the crank. That is close to what STS is claiming now, so a custom TT should easily do 500+ to the crank.

500hp to the crank is good enought for me!!!!! One day a TT wont be custom they will be kits..

If all works out well with they shop I'm using, we may be able to spec a kit. Then all we need to do is find someone to manufacture it.
