Why is everybody hating this kid. So he posted a comment about his new camaro on a camaro enthusiast forum. He is excited and most of you are acting like jealous lil kids. You talk about maturity and stuff but the ones that are making comments are not showing any.

Congrats lil dude on your car. I know when my son is your age he will probably be getting A car like that from his parents too.

I see it everyday on my way to work, young kid with his friends in a sportscar, or wanna be sportscar, trying to race any other sportscar they may come upon.
Agreed. A kid in my general area killed someone the other day. What caused the accident you might say? Showing off... I'm not saying every 16 year old kid will be a complete show off, but it's exceedingly high. When you get your license, you are basically getting a plastic pass of freedom. No more parents driving you around anymore. With that new freedom, most want to show it off to say "hey I'm free"! If you give a kid a new car on top of that exciting new freedom it will put the risks up higher.. Give a kid a new powerful car with that exciting new freedom... Well.. The risk becomes exceedingly dangerous to the rest of us. I believe there should be a law to where new drivers can only be capable of driving certain cars for at least their first year of having a license. No exotic or high performance cars no matter how wealthy your family might be until you reach that one year of driving by yourself. IMO that would be wonderful.

I'm not hating at all. I am very happy we have another member to our Camaro family. Congrats again my friend. Break her in gently.

But with all that said kid, you need to show proper judgement. Sure going fast and being reckless is fun when your 16, but it's not worth throwing away your life.

Just remember the spiderman line "with great power comes great responsibility"

If only all parents could have such responsible, hard working children.

I have no doubt he'll be responsible with his new F-22 as well. I know it's a lot of power to handle, but since my kid is so much more responsible and mature than other kids, and since he's worked so hard and achieved so much, I think he deserves something nice and since I can afford it, who's place is it to judge?

Sure, we've all heard stories about irresponsible kids wrapping their F-22's around sky scrapers and killing themselves, but I know that will never happen to my kid, because he's so much more responsible and hard working than other kids.

He's over at the F-22 forum right now letting others know about this wonderful gift he's worked so hard to earn. Check out his thread "Are there any other 16 year olds on here with a new F-22?" He'll be uploading pics as soon as his laptop gets fixed.

P.Diddy bought Justin Bieber a Lambo for his 16th. Go rag on him instead of this kid and his Camaro.

^^Now that's a DAMN GOOD kid!^^

No less will be expected in my house. My kid will have to be a 4.0 GPA kid playing sports or other extracurricular activity though and display extreme amounts of responsibility before I'd even let him use his own money on a 6 cylinder Camaro. That's still a fast car.

Grats on your AWESOME new Camaro man! Please be careful!

Thank you sir. I learned to save money at a early age. My father is a banker. It runs in the family I suppose.
