Car cover

Is that the car cover that was advertised in the ads in this forum. The car lingerie? I was looking at the but the 200.00 price tag stopped me. I did buy a generic car cover but the wind was flapping at it in the garage and when I pulled it off after my trip to iraq there was white dust under there.

I think I am going to have to buy the tight fitting cover like you have. I have to say it looks very good.

How do you like it?

I dont see the point in a 20k owning a car you wont drive for 3 months... just me though.

I live in NJ and get a decent amount of snow, nothing crazy like MI

I just slap some nice winter tires on the baby, and drive it around. If its anything over 3 inches, I just keep it home

I went back and forth between buying a Winter beater and putting it up and getting winter wheels & Blizzaks and running it when i can. Chicago winters are unpredictable at best - some years its like Buffalo, others like Cincinatti. Just gonna add another coat of wax for the winter and play it as it comes ---

I may not have too much of a choice this winter. My Exploder is not doing well and I'm ready to give it the heave-ho

It all depends on if your area gets hit by the salt truck.

I lost a car to salt in 3 years in chicago. Built up in cracks in the inside of the wheel well and all of a sudden I got a pop out of rust followed by a hole.

If I lived up by you guys I would be putting the car to bed as well. Unless you are lucky enough to just replace it when it rusts. I try to keep my cars for 2x the payment length to get some use out of it.

Here in Western Oregon it just rains all winter. At least they don't salt the roads. I would not like to drive my new Camaro through all that salt spray flying all over the roads back East.
