I think you're pushing it. You're going to have to leave pretty early to get there for the tour. I'm sure it will be in the morning.

Driving through Detroit on Thursday morning. Haven't had a problem getting across yet but coming back through can be a little interesting.

Seneca-Niagara Casino- US side...

Get off the I-190N just after you cross the 2nd (North) Grand Island bridge- exit on right at bottom of bridge and swing to the right going back underneath the bridge. This will put you on the Robert Moses Parkway running along the Niagara River. Take it to where it forks (about a mile) and keep to the right (on to John Daly Blvd) when it forks. The casino is up on the left about 1/2 mile- you can't miss it unless you're blind.
.

.
When you turn into its entrance, there is a parking lot immediately on the right- that's the one we want.
.

.
Try and keep to the "front" of the lot near the street and away from the casino...
.

.
For those who want to grab a coffee and/or quick bite prior to getting to the lot, I highly suggest the only convenient Timmy Hos along the route. When crossing the first (South) Grand Island bridge, get off at the first exit- Grand Island Blvd- and TH is visible up on the right. There's also a BK right there and a McD's another mile up on the right. If you choose to go to McD's, the cross street it's on is also another street that has an entrance back onto the I-190N.
.
Of course those looking for something to do quickly during the small break can also walk into the casino and donate- they will appreciate it...

i am going to join you guys what time will you guys be in the lot also do you have an adress i can put in my gps?

I do not have an address as of yet but I will. Keep checking this thread. With in the next few weeks I will be making a list in post #1 of THIS <---click... thread that lists everyone and where they are joining up on that route. I think we were planning about 4-5 at the Casino as trm002 had some prior engagements and can't make it till then.

Just stay tuned to this thread. I will make all the details known soon.

Glad youre joining up!!!

Looks like I can make arrangements to be there a little earlier if need be. As is sits, what is the earliest and latest that everyone joining this caravan will be arriving at the Casino parking lot? For those staying overnight Wednesday night on the Canadian side, do not cross back across the bridge simply to meet up with us and turn around and go back over it. I have another really convenient place for everyone to meet up once we have all made it through customs too. Those details later so it isn't confusing right now.

Trent

Honestly Trent, I don't know the earliest/latest yet. I was sort of planning around you. When I did the big C5Fest caravan, I just picked times and made sure we stayed on track. Remarkably even with 80+ cars, I was able to get us to Valdosta within 30 minutes of what I planned. I am guessing this will be to same way. I need to get a list of how many and where they are coming from. They times will sort of fall into play. I know I am leaving southern Ohio at like 6am or so. I will be getting the details together soon.

Who is meeting us on the Canadian side?

Meet up of two individual caravans

We also have the option of timing the whole thing to coincide with the "local" arrival of the Detroit and west group(s). In the years past, we have met and joined both caravans at the Burlington Mall (Burlington,ON) and then driven the last hour+ together as an even larger group. The only caveat to that is that the Detroit group has to slightly alter their trajectory.

Normally, they would be coming in almost all the way on the 401. They need to veer a little south where the 401 splits to become 401 OR 403 and take the 403 into Burlington. It adds minimal time to their journey but fu*** with their GPS routes...

Just a suggestion- don't go all freaking out over it if people's schedules are too different. At the very least, it's a 10 minute or less on/off detour for our Buffalo group to swing through there anyways and pick up anyone who wants to join us there.

Don't really know other than there's a FB thread about trying to get enough people together to get a group discount for the Fallsview Hotel (Canadian side) so I'm assuming...

And because of that, I wanted to make sure whomever is doing that doesn't go through the possible hassle of crossing the bridge back to the US just to wait an hour and turn around and cross back. There's really no good reason to do that when we can meet them on the "other side" just as easily.
