Not rich. Married to the same women for 35 years, same job for 31 years, 2-kids in their early 30's, house paid for, no credit card debt. Bought the SS for the power, looks and to make me feel better.

I made a smart move by trading in my 2008 D-Max Silverado for my 2010 Camaro. They gave me more than what I owed for the trade. It was a no brainer, and it wound up lowering my monthly car payment.

I got a 2SS.. because I had my last car, a 95 Camaro for 15 years, and quite frankly it was time for an upgrade. I knew that if it didnt get covered in the loan, I would never be able to afford it. CAI.. nope. Exhaust mod.. not going to happen. Tinted windows.. it's on the wish list- I'll see what happens. The monthly car payment hurts with a wife, and 2 kids, on a military paycheck but you do what you have to do. If theres something you want in life save up for it, plan for it, get your loan, and pay it off as you go. Life is to short to not enjoy it. Your whole life can turn into a grind..
