I've finally talked my wife into letting me get the 416 stroker...essentially told her that she was right...that I was an idiot for getting the supercharger without reading more and knowing the risk. (Think she liked the part about me being and idiot and her being right) Told her that if I don't do it I may end up blowing the motor (which is the truth)and it will cost even more to fix. So now my biggest hurdle is figuring out the least expensive way to way to get my motor out and shortblock stripped down to send to CC performance...the shortblock and parts price isn't so bad, it's the labor that kills you! Damn I wish I had a lift and all the tools needed! I know you told me before that shipping the bare shortblock out to you is only about $150. Does the completed shortblock price include free shipping? If not..what would the cost be to ship it to 20870?

I'll get the cost on shipping Monday, no it doesn't include crate and freight, But it shouldn't be to bad especially if we ship to a business.

Which SC pulley are you using? (3.25")
Are you going to use an agressive cam?

Please post your results....Im considering doing the same (even the excuse to the wife )

Right now I 'm using the stock edelbrock sc pulley with I think is 3.5" and am at 7lbs boost. I will be adding going to 3.25" pulley LPE dual pump, 85 lb injectors and a blower cam...probably the JRE or the ZR1 cam with beefed up valvetrain in addition to the 416 ci stroker. I'm not expecting to go much over 600rwhp. keeping hte stock heads and want a conservative tune. It's a beast already! The compromise with the wife though is that I don't do it until I've saved up for it. Complete suspension upgrade next month lready paid for. So in the meanwhile I'm doing the JRE feul rail upgrade as a band-aid for my concerns.

If you really want to get the discussion going on this comparison you could talk about a few other issues.. Lost boost pressure when shifting, and IAT related timing losses…

Remember… we don't race dyno graphs.

Are these hp numbers on 91oct and stock equipment or is it required to have CAI, LTH and catback exhaust to make these numbers.

The price of the E-Force jumps to $6995 on may 1st.. This price of this package will stay the same so then we are making more power for less money than the E-Force and Maggy. We offer both the Maggy and the E-force as well, I just happen to feel this engine deal is more for your money....... because it is.
