Patience on this is not OK..........

and no HUD like this is OK......

6 week Delay on Cyber Gray Metallic Delayed Until end of April
Patience on this is not OK this is BS....

same old same old from GM
did the same on 1979 TA no car till i went to Hollywood, FL. to buy

binding contractslike the 11,000 camaro contracts gm has........?

Its not like Gm has 11000 pre sold Impalas

I always Buy GM but don't you get it this is not OK...
Our pre-orders are just that, pre-orders. They are not orders and are not legally binding. GM could choose, right now, and at any time to cancel these or not accept them. They are not bound in any way to these pre-orders.

I understand the frustration. I don't have a CGM order but I would be just as frustrated as you if my color, IOM, was delayed. I'm not saying have patience, I'm just trying to explain why this is happening. It sucks, oh well. Understand it, and from that understanding deal with it.

As far as HUD and ABL goes, I have a few things to say about that as well. First, as far as I know HUD was never advertised as being an option that will be available on the camaro from launch. At least, it hasn't since the information has been coming out in the last year or so.

ABL is another story. To be honest, I have no stake in this (1ss ordered) so I don't really care, but I do agree that GM should be much more forthcoming with this than they are. If there's a problem with it come out and say it, and tell us that your working on it. All the people here really want is a simple yes or no on whether it is functional at the moment. If not, they either will or will not have it working by launch, and we can cross that bridge when we come to it. Constant complaining, however, will not make it get fixed any faster.

Its not the paint its the BS on not saying it.
if you look back we have asked CGM for 3 months or more and " its ok no problem"
It will be out by Feb 16 than march 16 and as of yesterday end of April
what next we didn't finish the impalas on April 30 so CGM will be August 15 2011.?

The problem is Gm thinks we need them, this is the same old same old, It is Run by bean counters not car nuts..

Yea, it is annoying that fbodfather said there wasn't any delays for CGM only a week or so ago. How quickly things change.

Ok but the impalas are not orders as will this is a all BS there is only 2-4 weeks of impala orders in the pipe line and of that how many gray are there.
if gm wanted to make the all the impalas in the grays orders in 1 to 4 days that wood be right and than go TO CGM but as the post from yesterday

Quote:
This just in, the 2010 Camaro in Cyber Gray Metallic (the color I ordered mine in, and the second most popular color according to our poll conducted for Chevrolet, has been delayed slightly.

The issue is the final builds of the Impala of the Dark Tarnished Silver color (which is to be replaced by Cyber Gray Metallic). Impala has to complete the build of their remaining Dark Tarnished Silver orders and the Impala Oshawa plant has to be shut down before they can switch over to Cyber Gray Metallic. From what I am told, the Impala build schedule for Cyber Gray Metallic starts in late April which is assumed that is when the 2010 Camaros in Cyber Gray will also start.

Am I bummed? A little bit. Not a ton. I would rather wait and get the color that I want and to me, it will be worth the wait. I am sure some people will sigh and say something to the effect of "another delay". Can't blame them but AFAIK, it is only one color.

So by that no CGM camaros till Jun 15 or later
is that right of GM

"Surprise! You got what you paid for!" If they got it working they would just say so as only the enthusiasts on the forums know about the ABL problems right now. If they withheld information for that reason a lot of people would be annoyed. HUD would be a good surprise...but something I paid for is expected.

How about this.

Stay on topic. And be repsectful of each other here.

This is about the recent deletion of an inappropriate thread. ABL has it's own home on this site.

Thanks.

Personal information?

1. This was a quote in the other thread about this.

2. Has anyone who knows their Process number has changed to 3000 happened to try to log back into www.my2010chevycamaro.com With your Photo order number to see if there happens to be anything new there? That is if you got a Photo with the order number on it. Sorry if you haven’t gotten yours yet.

3. This was another postin the other tread. Hey - Someone changed my logon at Chevy for the BAC logon today. Because I was checking status at www.chevylaunch.com I cant even check my own status anymore. I am the marketing director for our dealerships - no one knows what happened. Maybe the District Mgr. changed it?

Weird...

CamaroScotty - you think my Dist. Mgr. Changed my BAC # or the Dealer Principal??

My Response Things like above part of reason post was shut down IMO.

Then tell him to delete that one column that "could contain" sensitive information. Then go back and delete the posts that contain this information.

Maybe you should try this before hanging DealerInfo out to dry.

You guys and your consirisy theories... gees

We want the order status of our $35,000 cars. Its not rocket science

... or a legal battle.

Now there are 2 stickys that have to do with the deleted thread...

One says.. call GM. Why don't you try and call GM and get your status before telling the whole Camaro5 community to call and wait 15 minutes and not get any status.

The other says... we deleted your order status checking thread, DealerInfo is a terrorist. You should be glad you dont dont know your status. If someone else was to figure out your status, they could steal your identity.

Wow, misinterpret much?

First things first. You keep this up and I'll just delete your posts. You and I both know we didn't say anything bad about anyone, nor did GM. In fact the general consensus is that DealerInfo was honestly trying to help.

Now, if you want to be upset by all means, state your case against GM, Camaro5, me or the swedish bikini team if you like. Just be accurate in your complaint.

Thanks,
