There is no need to drop the sub-frame!!!!!
Cool.

Oh, and, I got the LCA today. I'll throw it on Thursday evening.

If anyone has been into these threads before, can you tell me the name? I am having a difficult time locating them.

OR else I will be calling PQ all weekend long!

I can certainly help with the regular bushings and cradle bushings.

If you search for "cradle" in the suspension and DIY sections you'll find some info. I didn't bookmark any of it though when I was looking. Companies like BMR also have a pdf you can download from their website which should help a lot.

It really isn't that difficult. Set the car securely on jack stands. Use a breaker bar to loosen all four sub-frame bolts. Set your floor jack under the diff to support it. Remove the bolts on one side of the car. Core the bushes as described above. Cut and fold a one inch section. Fold in the rest of the bush. Do the next bush. Insert the new bushes d bolt together loosely. Do the other side. Tighten the bolts. You are done.

Go slow and it will go well.

So this goes for doing the inserts as well? You suggest doing the whole side as apposed to front to back?

In other words loosen the bolts of the cradle on say the passenger side to where they are on by a few threads. Then go to the driver's side and remove both the front and rear cradle bolts. Deal with getting the plate off and install both the driver's front and rear insert. Then put the bolts back on a few threads and go over to the passenger side, remove the bolts and do the inserts.

I was thinking about doing them from front to back. Loosen the rear all the way except for a few threads. Then remove the fronts. Install the inserts. Put back on the front bolts a little and then go to the back.

So....side to side is easier or better than front to rear?

Also, I'm assuming red locktite vs blue locktite on those bolts?
