Man that was a hot fun day yesterday. after playing tuner a ran home changed and make it to the ball field by 3p to play dad. I was great puting faces with screen names. Later to find out that me and Fee5foFum grew up near eachother in Rockland County, NY and hit up the same bars in town.

I wanted to get more power out of slayers car, but time wasnt on my side. As you know the A6s take a while to set up and I wanted that comfort in his tranny for his daily street driving. After setting up his transmission, I baselined his MAF, main spark, and PE fuel tables to make sure the car ran clean on the street with no knock.

We had a chance to take a couple street runs to validate the tranny settings, but we had to be back for our time slot on the dyno. I had the AFR hovering at 12.3. Thanks to proven power for allowing me, I made a couple quick changes of the dyno to bring it up, but because it was a dyno day and other cars needs to strap on, I couldnt stay on the dyno tuning.

When the slayer gets some extra time, he's going to stop back over and I can finish dialing the MAF and clean it up to bring up the AFR.

numbers change from dyno to dyno and days to days. My car ended up with 438 RWHP and 382 RWTQ. I average about 10 rwhp and 40 rwtq higher but that may be because I have on taller tires and rims on now, and I dialed back my tune to a little safe tune to let my 10 year old heads and cam package to last. I need to find a 416CI for the C5.

After the kids game, I napped from 6-8.

Thanks for showing up guys, and I hope everyone enjoyed day. Slayer thanks for the oppertunity.

Phil thanks again no worries on my side I am sure that if we had more time yesterday we would have dialed in the car. But I am very happy with the overall drive ability of the car. The street manners and safety of the motor were my number one concerns and I think we are there but hey I am not going to refuse 10rwhp .... For anyone thinking of a tune you owe it to yourself to have a conversation with Phil he was actually more disappointed in yesterdays numbers than I was. He even offered for me to withhold payment until the car was perfect. That was a true sign of someone who is willing to stand behind their work! And I have no doubt that Phil will get the car to where he wants it.
