Same here on the letter and my dealer said today they are getting at least one by the end of march/april? This intro price thing is very vague and fishy. Dodge dealers by me are now taking up to 9G's of MSRP plus 0% financing I must admit this is very tempting Chevy/GM better get this car out as planned and get it out right! Hopefully offer finance deals to there loyal and patient pre sold orders customers its the right thing to do hope fully GM is monitoring our site, it would be just plain wrong if they sell us our cars and then offer deals to new customers walking in off the street.

So even if they are giving you a 3000 incentive it wont do you any good if you cant find one.
You should just move to Houston. There are 11 GXPs on dealer lots within 100 miles of me right now.

Got my email today as well. I have a signed contract with pricing, so I am not worried about the price of the car when it comes in. I am a little worried about when the car will come in because my dealer does not answer my request of how they did in the consensus. I am a realist and being number 3 in an allocation of 5 does not mean I should see it the first month of delivery. But I do believe I should see it by July, and I do believe my dealer can tell me what their first consensus was.

Long Live Camaro!

It took FOREVER to get incentives on the Malibu in 2008.

We had the Traverse just a few months, they are hard to keep on the lot....and we already have incentives on it. (I do sell more than Camaro's....and at great prices!)

I don't expect the economy to turn around any time soon....SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Sure, I won't be the 1st to have one, but I just can't imagine ordering something that I haven't even test driven yet. I'm sure it's going to be a great car, but it just feels weird to buy a car without testing it first. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
I'm with you on this one!

For whats it's worth, I did listen to you CamaroScotty! I was going to wait until 2010 when I figured I could use my supplier discount and maybe other incentives but I wouldn't be surprised if a price increase and maybe a gas guzzlers tax would put me in about the same price range so I ordered on Feb 2. I have the R6P code on my workbench order and hope that the prices I see on this site will be what I pay. My purchase order says MSRP with any GM incentives but I don't think they will give me supplier price so I assume that means sticker price.

To preorder, download a spec sheet and then go to a local dealer to place your order.
Where can I get a spec sheet? TIA

Well crap. I have to wait to order one, but this sounds pretty certain that the MSRP will increase before then. If car sales rebound and the incentives go away, then I'll be priced right out of the Camaro. Not good. Not good at all. Hello Mazda or Hyundai.

I just got the email too.
But did I miss something big? It says the SS has a zero to 60 time of 4.7 and thats the first official time I've heard so far.

The wording used - namely, INTRODUCTORY pricing, insinuates that there may be a price increase on Camaros when they hit the lots at the dealerships.

I was watching a video on youtube earlier today about the 2010 Camaro and the announcer said that they are giving the SS an advertised 0-60 time of 4.7 , but he said that a good driver on a good day can achieve better than that.

I also saw a thread on wheel hop from past camaro's. Here is what i found on the chevrolet website. Hopefully that means goodbye to wheel hop.

Ha That has nothing to do with what I asked.

Wow, ok Cool Thanks. I'm sure magazines are going to able to achieve much better times than 4.7 if the G8 GXP tested in magazines did 4.6.
