i can honestly say that i would ENJOY all the cars the same, but i highly doubt i would appreciate them as much as if i'd worked for them

and i found this kinda odd...I currently have an 07 Cobalt sport and was curious about the insurance prices for the camaro so i asked my dad to call the insurance company and get the price of a Challenger R/T and shockingly it was only 20 more (not sure if it was 6 months or per year) than my cobalt. I dont see how this makes sense but i was happy so whatever.
Wow, I wouldn't count on that scholarship if you filled out your applications to the "collages" like that....what don't they hand out scholarships for nowadays. Most of us graduated from collages in Grade 1.....ITS COLLEGE!!!!!!!

Sounds to me like you are going to get your full ride by the sport/sports you play.

Sounds pretty spoiled to me. Good thing they are well off because I can see you going back to the well (so to speak) whenever you fall on hard times.

I am 22 and have been working my ass off for the last 3 years to save for this car. If I get it in may/june when I expect it I should have a good 28k for a nice hefty down payment. Which I will need because I have never owned a credit card and I have never taken out a loan or financed anything so I believe I would have "not so good" credit or no credit at all. Since I have never had the expierience myself I have to go by what is told to me which seems to be different every other time. Some say I have bad credit because of these reasons and some say I will have good credit because you always start out with good credit. Either way I will have no problem getting a co-signer if I should so need one. I'm just glad i'll have that wonderful 28K to put down to feel warm and fuzzy about. Oh, and I do make plenty to offord payments, insurence, gas, etc.

I'm 21, gonna get a 1SS. Do I think it's a wise investment? No. Am I still gonna go through with it? Yes. Plus, even with this crappy economy, I know I'll never lose my job! ha.

Lol wow dude, that had to be the worst possible thing to post in a forum chastising spoiled teenagers that don't work for their toys. /Clap at you for that piece of literature...

"Sorry just had to say sometings(Sp) ...wow since when has a car been any kind of investment? And when you miss a payment or whatever happens..what then? your standing with them goes down the toliet(sp)" - 07MonteSS

Ever hear of the term "lesser of two evils?" Ok, and so they take the car. It's just a car, no big deal and credit can be rebuilt in time. I still have the rental, money for food, and a second vehicle in my bike which has been totally paid for.

But if you miss a payment or two on a house, what then? No house, on the street... I'd rather lose the car than a roof, thank you. That's how I gauge investments, how much can I lose before it gets really shitty.

I've driven multiple millions of miles and I know this one thing...Nothing but the Grace of God has kept me from getting in way over my head at times. Be careful when you brag about your own skills, that means you're getting cocky and over-confident, and someone is about to get hurt.

+2. I used to be the same, thinking I was damn near indestructible. That was until $2,400 bucks in a new front fascia on the exploder changed that mentality.
