actually it was my fault... i tried again last night and left 11 marks behind, but again:in what rpm are you guys launch and start spinning your tires from dead stop and rolling start(5-10mph)?

Before the blower, even leaving a light at normal pace then matting it results in tire spin... down shifting at 60MPH would result in short spin... Cruising in 2nd around 30-35 and matting it will cause spin.. 1st gear around 2000RPM and then flooring it equaled spin. I had no problems causing the car to roast tires..

Now that I have the Maggie -- it's hard to not spin when more than 1/3-1/2 throttle.

I have the opposite problem. Im gonna start a thread named "why cant I stop spinning the tires" so that you guys can help me. I've even tried pulling the 5 and 20 fuse and replaced them with lower AMP fuses and not even that worked. I'm about to go down to 2 inch single exhaust and disconnect the #2 and #7 cylinders to see if that helps.

Seriously though, let the gas get very low, fill it up with the highest quality and octane gas you can get, drive around for a few miles in order to clear out (use up) any of the previous fuel still in the fuel lines and injectors and park it, pull the 5 and 20 fuses, and let it sit overnight. Assuming your air and fuel filters arent clogged, this should do it. The only thing i can think of is the knock sensor pulling timing (due to low octane fuel) or the PCM went into its low spark fuel map (due to low octane fuel) OR.......you might have a "weak" MAF sensor. The fuse pull will remedy the first 2 possibilities, as far as the "weak" MAF, the best solution to see if its the problem (before you fork out the $$$ to buy a "strong" one) is to see if someone would be nice to you and switch MAF for a few days to see how your car reacts. If it solves your problem, then you know what you have to do. You have a K2 which has been identified as a "weak" one. I have a K21 MAF sensor on mine. I would let you borrow mine by switching with me but you're not in los angeles. The last thing that might factor into it to is the altitude in denver. Although not enough to keep you from being able to burn out at all, you defeinitely arent producing the 426BHP factory (or close to 500BHP with your mods) at that altitude like you would somewhere like in the part of L.A that im in at 32 feet above sea level. But you should still have enough to destroy your tires at will. Try looking for someone on here that is in your area that might be nice enough to let you borrow theirs for a few days. Dont expect the car to react instantly. Remember, these newer PCM learn stuff. So you should give it at least 200 miles to meet the new MAF sensor to see if thats the culprit

I havent tried in a while, but I have not been able to spin mine either (L99). I need to check the MAF and see if I have the right one or not.

My L99 with just a CAI will smoke from a dead stop with traction control on or off. If it is off it will fry them.

I've seen a couple people say that, but the posts on here I found talking about Weak vs. Strong state only a Letter is Weak and a Letter with a Number is Strong. Where is the single number thing coming from?

Bingo, you are straight. (Apex Chase)

Hmmm, yeah, something is not right. I can break loose very easily. Scared my self shitless a couple of times. Maybe you got bad gas or 87 octane and you are running on the low octane table.

Exactly - I will hold the traction control button down until traction control and stabilitrac both turn off - then it gets downright squirrely. I lit 'em up in a Macy's parking lot and it looked like the building was on fire...spun her 1.75 turns then she started to hop. The hoppin scared me pretty good.
