All steel glass windows fully street legal, maybe a little radical but it is a camaro and it is a street car. Just sold my modded Z06 to help my shop but I have other more standard street cars as well.

Just chiming in with a dose of, hopefully, logic:
i.e.: 2010 e60 M5 500 hp / 383 tq @ 4012lbs (w/o driver) 2010 M6 SS/RS 426 hp / 420 tq @ 3826lbs (w/o driver) Comparing stock to modded is excluded for this discussion ( a modded Honda could kill a Lambo with enough time and money), so assume both cars are stock and have drivers of roughly equal weight and skill. Bimmer should be faster in the 1/4 and on the hwy. Sure the SS may initially jump ahead with more tq at a lower rpm but the M5 is sporting a 55 ish hp advantage (deducting roughly 20 hp for the added 200 lbs curb weight). Math is math no matter where in the world you apply it. Enjoy my SS tremendously as it fits my style, but I'm not under any illusion that stock it shouldn't be outclassed by a well designed car with more power. |
