Getting closer.

Now if they will hurry and load it on a truck to make the short drive to my dealer.

Well, i assume since there has been no chatter on here lately, that everyone is moving at an acceptable pace................this is good!

Mine was shipped on 10/6 but my dealership is being retarded again. First they told me (when i first ordered) that they couldn't give me an order# until after it was already built

so i had to call cust. serv. to get my order #. Now they are telling me that they can't call to get me a rail car #. They said they used to be able to do that but can't anymore because there are too many dealers calling and bugging for it......

So i called cust. support again to see if they could get it for me, and of course, they called the dealership

which told them they don't have the info. Cust. service is suppose to call me back today with rail #, so we will see. I have no idea where they are gonna get if from if not from dealership.
Anyway, i hope everyone else is having a good experience with no drama.

I assume you have yours now Buddy.............congratz!

Not yet, its 2 hours away an Dealer said he's had them sit there for up to 3 weeks. Unloaded Friday and still sitting there. Moved from Canada to Tn faster than from Nashville to Martin.

Ok, evidentally i am an idiot

GM cust. serv. called and gave me my railcar # today and said it was last tracked in Indianapolis. So i am excited and decided i would figure out how to track this thing myself........not happening!

Called CSX automated line and evidently i am not smart enough to figure it out. I went to prompt 5 and then 3 and it then asked me if i wanted to track location, said yes and then it asked for the cars initials.......this is where i can't figure it out. Tried saying my railcar # and then entering it on keypad, nadda!
Anyone help and idiot out here?

Rail car got to Salem, IL Saturday and sat there all weekend :( But it was switched over to UP rail and destination date of Kirby, TX @ 10:40AM 10/12 which is about 1.5 hours away from my dealership. Should have it Wed, if not Thursday. Cool bean, I'm going to Dallas this weekend so it's going to be awesome to have here in time to meet up with some old friends that I haven't seen in 10 years.

Sorry Weezerj, nothing about how they work makes sense. Bee is a 9/19'r, so he is due. I'm sure sompin will happen with mine where it sits for a week or so and yours will get to you before mine.

Don't feel bad, it took me a couple tries before I figured out what they wanted (CSX) but after a day or two I could get my update in under a minute. I see you figured it out. I still track the railcar just for fun. On mine it seemed like CSX updated in the afternoon. Have fun tracking.

hey buddy, i noticed your in TN. I am in AR so i figure we will somewhat go the same route. Do you know where or if ours will transfer to UP? I called CSX and it said mine pulled into Kirk Yard lastnight at 11:30 pm and had no eta. Just for giggles, i called UP to see if they even had any info on mine, and for the ramp prompt it said "loaded" have no idea what this means or if it has anything to do with me. Any ideas?

Well mine went from Canada to Detroit, then to Walbridge Oh, then to Cin ohio, then to Louisville and then to Nashville where sits waiting on a truck. Go to http://www.csx.com/index.cfm/about-csx/system-map/ and then click on system map and you can see the csx rails. I would think yours will go to St Louis and change to UP but I really don't know. Seems they sit after they are unloaded waiting on a full truck.

I was stationed in Jacksonville at LRAFB a long time ago. Still have a friend in Cabot I go see.

Good grief! where are you getting all of that info from? When i called, all it said was "stopped at Kirk Yard, IN at 11:29 pm on 10/09. No ETA" and that was it.
