I have an M6 and have never accidentally popped the trunk. I still don't get how people do it.

2 weeks of owning my Camaro, 150~ miles on it. Twice I have found my trunk open. Also I noticed if I hold the trunk button down to long it keeps cycling. Kinda annoying.

Seriously though, how about be more careful with the key fob? Or how about parking your car far away so that it's out of range of the key fob so it won't open?

How can I be more careful with my FOB? I put it in my pocket and take it out of my pocket. I am tired of the trunk opening and my trunk has very expensive stereo equipment in there. One of these days it will all be gone if I dont fix it. Its seriously happened no less than 15 times.

I haven't found my trunk open since I installed this nearly six years ago.
2010-2015 Camaro Two-Shot Trunk Release Relay
Before that it was at least once a week and I don't even keep my FOB in my pants pocket.

I do wish GM would have put a lock cylinder on the trunk and a means to disable the electric release. My Sentra had that along with a valet key that would only work on the doors and the ignition, not the trunk or glove box. And the release to fold down the back seat was in the trunk.
