Just turned 27 in August, working in IT, Senior Executive Support Specialist at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. I've been in IT for 6 yrs now, currently studying for CCNP and headed to Network Engineering and Administration with an eye on learning what I need to start my own IT Firm.

Work in finance at a media entertainment company in the city. Its been a tough rode with the economy being what it is but hard work and dedication will aways get you to where you need to be. Never give up, remember that work is a marathon and be humble so you can learn from others and you will do just fine. My camaro is being made next week and should be in in another two weeks.

Do both and you will be golden!! I joined the Marines after high school, bought a new car after boot camp..paid it off in less than 4 years and had money to spare. Went to college afterwards on the GI bill. Rejoined the military as a reserve officer after college and got my school loans paid-for (80K worth) and have gotten bonuses to stay in recently (which I was already going to do) and will likely retire in 5 years with my house paid off too.

I'm in the medical field but the Information Tech field makes big bucks too. It's easy these days to earn a degree while in the military...probably the fast way for a young person to build wealth but I wouldn't join the service just for money..you have to want to serve in the first place to get the most out the experience.

Logistics...I play with trucks and machinery all day.....not loving my job but need to decide what I want to be when I grow up...44....would love to own and operate my own store and be in FL so hunter1660 is you ever decide to expand let me know...lol

28 and back in school full time, but worked a ton before I went back to school, saved here and there, got some loans, saved in my penny jar, might sell some stock. haha. Currently I'm working in IT here at school while I'm finishing my overdue bachelors lol.
