Then it's not too late. You can still negotiate or choose not to purchase from that dealer. You really should too. As others have said, you can get an SS for that price. I got my 2010 2SS in June 2009, preordered on the 2nd possible day for 5th gen orders, for $33,500. No way you should pay $34k for a V6.

My first was a 2010 1SS Orange with Stripes with cloth interior was about $36k if I remember correctly.

Got rid of that and got a 2010 2SS Orange with Stripes, loaded, orange leather interior, Hennessey Supercharged, was like $32k.

Didn't want a sunroof with either, or ground effects.
