Like most professions, we tend to specialize and I don't do much in the way of tax. I also live on the west coast where it is not quite 10:30.

I'd love to see and LS7 in a Camaro and a ZL-1 name come back, but I think it's only going to be enthusiasts that know what that means. Knowing reports are that it's getting the axe I just hope they don't only make 69 of these GT-fighters...

GM has said it plans V-8 and V-6 versions of the Camaro but otherwise has been secretive. Lutz confirmed to Automotive News that the V-6 version of the Camaro will be powered by the same high-tech V-6 used in the Cadillac CTS. It's a direct-injected, 3.6-liter four-cam V-6. In the CTS, the engine is rated at 304 hp.

IF it is kept at 300+ hp, and IF they don't give it "premium" pricing, it will sell extremely well. But given that Hyundai has announced that the Genesis Coupe will be the most affordable 300+ hp coupe, GM is going to have to make sure those "IF"s actually happen. Forget the Mustang and the Challenger, the Genesis is the real bogey for the V6 model. It all comes down to what Bob meant by "premium" pricing, and if the reports of the Camaro's 3.6 DI being detuned to 260 hp are misunderstood or not.

Oh, I agree. Premium isn't a set "price." So, I'm hoping it could be just a few shy of the Mustang as it has ALWAYS been. And, it's actually great that these other companies (like the Genesis) are coming out. It will push GM to get the full performance out of the engine they put in a car. I mean..........

We have the potential to have 304 ponies under the hood. What do we do? Down it to 260???? C'mon now....WHYYYYYYYYYYYY???????????????

The good news is, if GM brings it down from 300 hp, it will not be difficult at all to get it back up to 300 hp. Annoying that GM should have us do that, (if that wasn't an error) but not the end of the world.
