Have the insurance cut you a check, buy some 18" LS wheels and an alarm.

Then buy nice wheels when you move out of the hood.

Honestly. Best thing you could do. Is get an alarm system and have it set to over sensitive. It will go off if it rains. You don't have to make it that sensitive but you get the point. Next time those low life pieces of $hit try and lift your car. It will hopefully go off and alert you or neoghbors

i spoke to some neighbors and they said they did hear alarm go of. but they didnt think anything of it.

Someone should make lug nut locks that explode if tampered with. The shrapnel should slow them down.

There's probably some law that says you can't protect your own property though and some idiot would sue you for the post birth abortion of their innocent angel who was merely trying to make ends meet by 'recycling' some 'abandoned' wheels they found resting between the ground and your brake rotors.

I feel bad for you. I have had a car broken into a few years back (not my camaro, but I'm always worried about it ) - it just pisses you off so much. It just really sucks, too bad you cant find them and make them feel some pain as well.

I hate thieves. I'd pay to see you chuck that cinder block at his face.

Hopefully you get the car off the cinderblocks ASAP. Unless they're located at the specific jack points that the chassis is designed to take the weight (which it doesn't look like they are), the longer it sits on them the more stress is put on parts of the chassis that isn't engineered to take all that weight.

Best thing to do is to try to find a parking spot, anywhere, that is off the street and out of plain sight. If a garage is too expensive, is there another location you can park it? Any hills close by? A good hill makes it damn near impossible to jack up a car and hold it up long enough to get the wheels off without it rolling and falling off.

Sad man
I would kill someone
I don't give a shit about the wheels. They can take it. But dropping its on concrete blocks. That's just fn brutal. Pigs. Hope they get hit by a bus. Or someone breaks into their home and steals everything
, I would probably be looking into some sort of camera to mount in the car if I were the OP, if nothing else it would be a little peace of mind to me.

Idea

Mount the 18" Camaro LS rally steel wheels which look very plain-jane looking and those probably will not be stolen. Don't mount the chrome trim rings either.

If you feel your car is going to be left in a dangerous high theft area often, Don't mount any expensive rims till you move or have a garage.

the 20inch stock rims. i had the rs package so it came with it.
What about locks to slow them down and n extremely loud, flashing lights, motion sensor alarm of some sort? Doesn't have to be so sensitive that passing cars and such will set it off. By the looks of what they did, there must have been some pretty serious chasis movement.

The more deterrents and attention you can grab when they are trying crap like this might make them just go somewhere else.

Just a thought.

ahhh man that sucks big time.
Lug locks won't prevent from someone stealing your rims + tires, but it will take a longer time for whoever to steal them.

Put them on your insurance, it won't affect your insurance at all. Hopefully you have a low comprehensive deductible.
