My car says average fuel 13.3 MPG. This is my daily driver too so I usually cruise in 5th or 6th on the fwy just to help fuel consumption but I play a bit too. Honestly the new Corvette Stingray seems very appealing for the much better gas mileage it offers as well as similar performance...but I sure love my ZL1 even if it's a gas guzzling pig

In the city if you only use the top gears 1st 3rd and 5th is will greatly improve your mpg, i get 15 city doing that 19 is all i get on the highway tho... winter blend fuel here in ohio and only 1000 on the odometer dont help tho....

I'm pretty happy with the MPG on long trips. I managed 19.4 on two separate 800+ mile trips at about 75 mph.

My first 1000 miles averaged 12.5 mpg, I have been really easy on the car also.

I get 22 mpg now and that's with a stage 5+ with 661whp .. I had worst mileage when I was stock :-D

I think the MPG loss is more do to the gearing than the LSA engine. An SS has a 3.45 rear times .57 6th gear equals 1.97 final ratio. ZL1 has 3.73 times .63 for a 2.35 final ratio. But that's why the ZL1 can still pull 6th gear hard when a SS would have to downshift.
This amounts to about an extra 400-500 rpm at highway cruising speed.

2013 M6 with approx 3,500 miles. Current overall MPG (according to the Drivers Information Center) the Magic Number: FIFTEEN!

I was averaging 17 mpg, since then I have installed a K&N CAI and was playing around pretty hard with it a few times and still managed 18 mpg. I guess I'll have to take it easy to see what I can get now. No tune or anything else on my car yet 11,000 miles+ to date.

My car has the 2.55 upper ,id850 injectors, rotofab cai and tune 615/600 Did a roadtrip from Houston to El Paso and got 22.4.

I drive the car every day. mix of city and hwy. Stock I got 12.8 avg, KN filter and cut big hole in front of airbox i got 13.9 avg, Rotofab I am now getting 15.5avg.
I am hoping that loosing the cats and getting long tubes will increase it a bit more. On my 2006 Z06 with no cats, intake and LT, I would get 33pmg when cruising at 60mph.

Rotofab, grinding rear diff sound forever, dealer replaced supercharger - now i have a rattle when starting from a stop, ordered 2.35 lingenfelter pulley, hp tuner, belt, 100mm idler pulley, tr7IX spark plugs, wideband kit, long tubes with no cats...hoping for 650hp. dyno with rotofab = 518hp |

I have about 3500 miles on the car, was getting about 14mpg, drove to Florida and back, about 1000 miles each way, and got 17mpg and now it has dropped to 16mpg around town. The car is stock performance. Pretty typical I think.
