Glad I held off on doing the backup camera. This unit would likely have everything I wanted.

I still never did the HUD, but then again, I don't miss it either.

The way GM prices things, I won't be surprised if it's closer to the $3k range if not more. Replacement touch screen Nav units from GM cost between $2,000-$2,500 alone for other vehicles. Add in the wiring harness and other must haves and you are looking at a $3k project. A touch screen Nav is typically a $2,000 - $2,500 option from the factory and we all know factory options are always cheaper then installing them yourself.

To bad IMO you are missing a good thing.

I never said it was cheap, but then its OEM and IMO the best it can be.

Oh I agree with you on the OEM part. OEM is almost always better then aftermarket imo.

I just seen a couple posts expecting the cost to be around $1k so I just wanted to let them know what this typically cost in other GM vehicles.

Thanks for confirming that this unit will indeed have the Navigation feature built-in.

Ofer, can you confirm whether this unit will support a backup camera as well?

Heck I would be happy with the bezel and some sort of harness so that we can put in any double-din system that we want...
